Day 2
Handover of the motorhome and drive to Victoria
After picking up the motorhome, drive south from Vancouver to Tsawwassen, where you can take the ferry to Swartz Bay in Victoria. Spend the night at Fort Victoria RV Park, which is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Visit the famous Butchart Gardens, just 17 km away, or explore Victoria by public transport.
Insider tip: Visit the Butchart Gardens early in the day to experience the full beauty of the flowers and avoid the crowds.
Day 3
Pacific region
This longer stage takes you from Victoria along the picturesque coast to Pacific Rim National Park near Tofino. Spend the night at Greenpoint Campground, a government-run campground on Long Beach with electricity and showers. Experience the impressive forest trails with huge trees, mangroves and the expansive beaches of the Pacific Ocean.
Insider tip: Don’t miss the forest trail at Long Beach, where you can hike through the lush rainforest under majestic giant trees – a unique nature experience!
Day 4
Qualicium beach
East coast
After visiting the Pacific Rim National Park, continue on to the east coast to Qualicum Beach and Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park. Here you can spend relaxing days on the beach and go swimming in fine weather.
Insider tip: If you have time, you should make a detour to the Sunshine Coast on the mainland – a picturesque area that can only be reached by ferry from Vancouver.
Day 5
Horseshoe Bay
Drive from Rathtrevor Beach to Nanaimo and take the ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Enjoy the drive along the Sea to Sky Highway and discover Whistler or make a stop at the impressive Nairn Falls.
Insider tip: Change your campsite after 2-3 days, as many provincial parks only allow limited stays.

Day 6
Canim Lake
The journey takes you through the impressive mountains and the Fraser Valley, past the Gold Rush Trail and Caribou County. Once you arrive at Canim Lake, owner Rudy Gauss offers boat rentals and wilderness tours.
Insider tip: If you are there at the end of June or beginning of July, visit the Williams Lake Stampede, the second largest rodeo in Canada.

Day 7
Clearwater
In Wells Gray Park, you can enjoy the unspoiled nature around the North Thompson River Provincial Park near Clearwater. On the way there, the route takes you along the picturesque Fishing Highway, which is known for its idyllic scenery.
Insider tip: Don’t miss the impressive Helmcken Falls with a drop of over 140 meters.

Day 8
Icefield Parkaway
On the way from Mount Robson to Jasper, it is worth making a detour to Maligne Lake before continuing your journey along the spectacular Icefield Parkway. Highlights along the route include the impressive Athabasca Falls and the Columbia Icefield.
Insider tip: From Wilcox Creek Campground, a hiking trail leads to Wilcox Pass with great views.
Day 9
Hot Springs
Discover the Icefield Parkway, which takes you from Lake Louise through the Kootenays to Radium Hot Springs in Kootenay National Park. The Redstreak Campground is the perfect starting point for hikes and relaxing in the hot springs.
Insider tip: After a hike, enjoy a relaxing bath in the natural hot springs of Radium Hot Springs.

Day 10
Moyie Lake
Admire the impressive hoodoos, free-washed sandstone pillars, and take a detour to Kimberley, known for its mining museum and Bavarian charm. Continue to the campsite in Moyie Lake Provincial Park.

Day 11 & 12
Kokanee Creek Park
Enjoy the drive along Kootenay Lake and take the free ferry from Kootenay Bay to Balfour before reaching Kokanee Creek Provincial Park.
Insider tip: The park offers beautiful hiking trails and picturesque views of Kootenay Lake – ideal for nature lovers.
Day 13
Martha Creek Park
The journey takes you along Upper Arrow Lake via Kaslo and New Denver, with the free ferry from Galena Bay to Shelter Bay, before reaching Revelstoke and continuing to Martha Creek Provincial Park.
Insider tip: Visit the railroad museum in Revelstoke or hike the Meadows in the Sky to experience the blooming summer meadows.

Day 14 & 15
Lac le Jeune Park
The stage takes you via Salmon Arm and Kamloops to Lac le Jeune Provincial Park, with the Frontage Road and Lac le Jeune Road offering a more scenic alternative to Highway 1.
Insider tip: Enjoy the quieter and more scenic drive along the Frontage Road.
Day 16
Coquihalla Canyon Park
The route leads via the Coquihalla Highway to Hope and on to the Coquihalla Campground in Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park, where hikes such as to the Othello Tunnel are possible.
Insider tip: Empty the water tank thoroughly before the last stage.
